So Christmas is over now and I was wondering what people had planned for New Year?

What traditions do you have, if any?

I am spending New Year with the users and this year for the first time. I have been engaged to Tashman for 4 1/2 years and this is the first New Year I am spending with his family, PUNK other members of their family XD. I'm very much looking forward to it

My tradition is I always try to have McDonalds on New Years Day :)

Fondue with mom and little bro,then our usual "log cake". We will probably make cookies?idk yet.

I always spend New Years Eve with my best friend. She lives 5 hours away and comes up to her parent's for Christmas and New Years so we spend the night together. I haven't seen her since last New Years so I'm super excited. We always go out for dinner and breakfast. I'm not sure what we have planned yet

I plan to go watch the fireworks with family and friends. I also plan to possibly host a New Years party. That's about it. :)

I'll be staying at home, hoping that my neighbors don't burn too many firecrackers and of course taking care of my rl pets; I could never bring myself to attend a party while my poor babies are alone at home with all those brainless assholes out on the street...

We always play board games from the old year into the new. This year, we have Zombicide!

I'm spending it with my best friend c: probably just going to the carnival and watch the fireworks or something

I think I'm just going to watch the ball drop with my close family again this year. But who knows, we might end up visiting some extended family again this year... (I hope not!)

My friends just got a new apartment so they're having a housewarming/NYE party. I need to buy an outfit though!

I always spend New Year's at home trying to keep the dogs calm while the neighbors set off loud, terrifying fireworks.

I'm gonna be at my boyfriend's, but I don't know what we're gonna do. Maybe visit his friend and drink some champagne.

My boyfriend desperately wants me to go with him to his aunt's house, but we just had a long discussion over how uncomfortable I get around people who drink a lot of alcohol. Apparently a tradition they have is that everyone 18+ smokes a cigar at midnight...me being allergic to smoke (not to the point where I can't breathe, but it gives me a migraine and therefore leads to dizziness and nausea) doesn't help anything. :/ I'm still a bit iffy on whether I'm going to go or not. I work the 31st and the 1st at 9 AM and 11 AM, respectively. The last thing I want to do is stay up until 3 am when I have to be awake at 9:30 am.
